Does anyone plan to buy NBA elite 11 anyway? In all seriousness it's well known that NBA 2K is the only sports game that 2K does well, and that EA does poorly with. EA selling NBA Jam instead of Elite 11 seems like a better move. Granted Nintendo's probably pissed now that they lost their exclusive.

So i just picked up Civ. Rev for $0.99 on the app store... Is it weird that i like it a lot more then either the console versions of Civ. Rev. or even Civ IV? I like the simple style of the units, it almost feels like a board game.

@wezelboy: The time frame is the difference. Are we currently fighting Nazi's? Nope. Are our troops currently being shot at, wounded or even killed by Nazi's? Nope. Also there's been so many games use the Nazi's (and even Russians) it's become rather pedestrian.

This makes sense to me. Do they use "Taliban" in Call of Duty? Nope. Sure this situation is overblown, honestly who gives a damn if you're playing as the "Opposing forces" or the "Taliban"?. Is it the SAME character models? Yup. Same guns? Yup.

@edhe (xbl): Yes but the publishers pay to have those blocks filled with their content. EA Payed to have Shank on the front of the spotlight channel. Microsoft payed to have that Halo Reach countdown. All of that stuff is payed for.
