Maybe don’t dignify Scientology with the word “religion”* when it’s a deranged cult specializing in blackmail and slave labor that was started up by a mediocre sci-fi writer as a tax dodge.

And, lo, the Lord did say unto the people, “lol fuk u got mine”
Are those the shoes the little kid was trying to buy for his dying mom in that Christmas song?
Baelor was an inside job.
I don’t know, I watched this while eating lunch and didn’t think it was all that bad to watch compared to the Kevin Ware, Gordon Hayward, Paul George, etc. type broken leg videos. I still haven’t watched the Nurkic video because of the comments (and probably because I was eating lunch). How does that one compare?
her blankly chipper friend
It’s kind of like musical chairs but more stabby.
I’m pretty sure there’d be a long line to give him a swift kick in the ass and out of the Moon Door before that happens.
i don’t understand why “dies” is in quotes in the article. he really did die. yes, he was brought back from the dead, but there’s nothing quasi about his death. if anything, it’s his current status as living that is questionable.
hes just a man though. who cares right?
Qyburn is oddly likeable for me. I know in universe he’s basically Mengele with slightly less torture, but the actor has a charm to him and he’s just so excited that he gets to play around with dark magic and science. I think it would’ve been interesting to see him in some sort of redemption arc, but that seems…
I’m mostly annoyed that now when I say Leno wasn’t funny the response is more likely to be some generic botspeak about a libtard being owned, when my reaction to him is that he just is not and was never funny. I never had any fondness for Bill Clinton, yet even I couldn’t wade through the million, zillion bad Clinton…
You’re thinking of the live-action Itchy & Scratchy movie.
Zillions, yes! I had a subscription as a kid and I recognized most of the pages in that linked post. Did Zillions make me the cynical consumer I am now or was I already fad-averse as a kid? Maybe both. Also I grew up out of the way, so not all the trends really appeared in our town (like, I didn’t know The Gap was a…
I liked “Crow” best of the albums after Ben Kenney came onboard, but the back half REALLY drags. If they cut like four songs and made “Here In My Room” the last track instead of the penultimate one (“Leech” isn’t bad, but it’s kind of forgettable), it would have been much tighter.
Check out the Boyd solo song “A Night…
It’s a blog dude, not the New York Times.
Reminds me of Paul Burka’s legendary take on Texas chili:
The best part is when they have no idea what a keto diet really is, I had a few people tell me about their keto diet (of course) but couldn’t tell me their macro breakdown or ketone levels because “I’m not really tracking anything”
As a lifelong “Twilight Zone” obsessive I’m still skeptical but have to admit this looks promising. The show looks like it has a definite vibe, which is crucial. The most important thing though will be to take the core premise forward with the understanding that the stories have to be solid, that some of them need to r…
“The number band thing is out, okay? Blink 182, Green Day 75, these names are not cool.”
