The timing of this was pretty extraordinary:

Ehh, this kind of guy never gets it— all he knows is lip service. “OK, it’s been 9 months, have you girls settled down yet so we can go back to business as usual? Make me a sammich.”

There are several falsehoods here. 1) This is the only way he can make a living. 2) He “deserves” anything. You don’t deserve - you earn. 3) That anything he would earn would supersede the rights and feelings of his victims.

It’s amazing that when people get fame, they should understand that they have to behave like Queen Elizabeth. Too many people rely on these pervs for their salaries and if they act like or pull out their dicks, they’re f&cking idiots because it’s not just their careers they’re putting in jeopardy.

And that right there is the issue. He wants to be in the public eye again but hasn’t done anything in public to show anything is different. Sure, he lost a few projects and went away for a few months, but as far as anyone knows, that is the extent of what happened. Has anything changed? Has he done any counselling?…

I’m amazed that someone like CK would be even willing to show his face on stage right now. I mean, give it another year...or two? I really thought men like him would just go behind the scenes and ghost write or something. If it were me, I would have more shame. But I guess I know nothing??

Committing crimes OFTEN destroys your career.  Plenty of criminals are forced from their chosen careers, and must find another.  I’m fine with this for those guilty of assault.  You are not owed a public career simply because it’s what you prefer.  He can be a damn accountant.

You know who else deserved to make a living Michael? The women whose careers were destroyed after being sexually harassed by Louis C.K.

I saw Che in Seattle (at the Neptune) like 6-7 months ago and he made a bunch of awkward trans jokes. It wasn’t very funny.
