I was crazy obsessed with Center Stage and thus it is weirdly super exciting to me that you auditioned. I may just go home and watch it again tonight.

Yes! I completely agree with everything you just stated.

Thanks for posting this. I knew nothing about this story until a few posts up, and read a different account. When I'm not at work I'm going to do so more digging and read the transcript of the speech myself...

I actually don't want to like her. I very much dislike her comedy. But, as someone who doesn't like her, I still hadn't heard of this story. That is horrific. I have to believe it just didn't get press, not that women ignore it because they like her. I hope. I really hope.

There is a reason that their fraternity acronym is known across the country as "Same Assholes Everywhere" - their national headquarters sets a rotten example from the top down. IMO, you were right on target.

Ahhhh, I'm so happy that I can adore him as a person just as much as I adore the character he plays. <3

Not out of line, never out of line. I think it is important to hear everyone's voice and experience who has been impacted by suicide. And, honestly, hearing your voice made me feel a bit better in a weird way. Why? Because I lost my brother to suicide and it is sometimes painful to hear the "a loved one saved me,

Awww, love the classic Kevin Smith quote, from back when he was actually making relevant movies.

I think you'll be ok, because you understand yourself and ARE terrified. If I were you and wanted kids, I'd make a plan ahead of time to work with a family counselor when it starts to come time to dealing with those issues. Therapy/counselling is not a dirty word. It can be a lifesaver when dealing with the stress

Well, I'm officially super jealous of you. I LOVE food but have to watch everything I eat, and work out 5x a week, to not be a house, which makes me obsess over food sadly. I would so much rather eat for nutritional value than for taste.

Oh, agreed. I was all "waaaaah? sweet!" And then I was sadly disappointed that it turned out to be an actually normal finger ring.

Sorry, I actually regretted later that I didn't add that I certainly wasn't judging you. I was just explaining an alternate opinion from someone who has had a similar experience...

I was in the Hancock building when the explosions occurred. I felt the first one, ran into the hall and then felt the second. Literally felt, as the building shook. Our cafeteria looked down on the chaos and what we saw was horrific. I knew my dad, a marathoner himself who has completed the race 5x but was working

I think you read it wrong. She was "pretending to be a queen" she wasn't pretending to have oatmeal on her face. Actual oatmeal was on her actual face.

I find this unsurprising because Middle America LOVES Ellen. They eat anything she serves up with a spoon, as quickly as possible. They look discreetly away from her liberal leanings, like she is their beloved black sheep aunt that everyone secretly loves best even though they can't understand her politics. Not so

100% agree. My passion is skydiving. I hurl myself out of a plane every weekend for 8 months out of the year. And I would never even consider doing this. She is super kick-ass. I've been wondering about the people who chose to do this, very cool interview.

Religious fanatics and their "baptisms" and "christenings", man. Reminiscent of when the Mormon-loonies were baptizing Holocaust victims (ok, the latter was worse, but still, similar veins...)

Light therapy is awesome for problem skin. I was a skeptic, but that shit is legit. I use less fancy gadgets (the Aurora system and Tanda ZAP), but I'm a huge fan.
