There is nothing wrong with the term booth babes.

Dairy and grains are overrated food groups.

Why is this on io9?

The poetry of time and space.

I smell a food snob

That's probably a cop-out. How big is your organization? It could be that some group in your company is using out-of-date or badly written software that hasn't been tested on other browsers. Or there could be too much bureaucratic red tape in upgrading the tech environment.

Standards compliant code will work well in IE9 with nowhere near as much modification as was required with previous iterations. You should check the quirksmode links I posted in my other comment.

Following the logic of your clever assessment, I have never known a Windows user to not possess a childish emotional aversion to Apple products.

Exactly... I keep reading about things in space that astronomers are finding that don't seem to fit into our standard model. So I don't consider it anywhere near finished.

Being able to see a close celestial body in the night sky would be wonderful. Too bad we'll miss Andromeda's approach. :(

Fez was the most recent game that I really got into. I hope you get to play it soon - it set a new bar for me in terms of puzzle-platformers and aesthetic mastery.

Charming, thoughtful games. You nailed it. People like you and I who grew up playing games now lack the time to invest in big-budget "AAA" titles due to having more responsibilities, but we still crave interesting gaming experiences.

I seriously dig the moon game.. but I find it a little funny that the developer wants to "reward" people by letting them become testers.

Eric glosses over the fact that sex and video games aren't the only things that cause humans to engage in repetitive activities in pursuit of a chemical reward in ze brain i.e. dopamine response.

Did they kill your mommy and daddy or something?

Yeah. They seriously dropped the UX ball on this one.

Also sometimes when I reload the page, I only see one comment thread for an article.

Don't know if it has anything to do with Kinja / new login system but it seems now the times for article posts are not being displayed in my local time. Kotaku is still on the old system and it has the proper times displaying.

Remember our conversation yesterday? When I said it wasn't that bad? That was because I thought we still had linear discussion threads, but merely organized by author of the original comment.
