Based on what I'm seeing here I'm inclined to agree with you. There was a certain grittiness to the graphics that made the original version seem more organic.

Yeah that is good to know. Your best bet is to load the tracks up into a good DAW. I don't know much about Audiotool but if it has some decent tools you can probably get a more fuller sound out of it.

Have you tried Catherine or Fez? They were really refreshing games to me.

I live in the south. Sometimes I hear commercials for Acura and they pronounce it "Ac-urr-a".

The basics of audio production.. imo if you want to do it right, focus initially on song structure, composition techniques, and sound creation. Listen to your music on as many devices as you can. Be mindful of the genre rat-race. Be critical. Be original. Be human.

Looks pretty interesting, thanks for the link. We seem to be on the same page. I'll give it a more thorough read when I have some time.

Critical thinking.. now that is a skill that the public needs to work on as a whole..

Right with you there. Instead of being concerned with the validity of beliefs, I think we should be mindful of identifying beliefs versus facts. Yeah that's the truth. As scummy as it is, it works.

What's amazing to me is they seem to be describing the problem with men being sexist, ignorant, horrible people while simultaneously demonstrating the very behavior they despise.

Hitman. Tomb Raider. Such controversy surrounding the recent promotions of these games. Despite the apologies I think we all know that the people in charge of marketing knew exactly what releasing said content would do: rile up a predictably vocal group of people in protest of the material, and effectively create even

Nahhhh I'm sure you are actually a fairly bright person. I mean, you are on io9 after all.
