I take a half-volley to mean hitting the ball as it’s coming up off the ground, as opposed to a volley where you hit it as it’s coming down towards the ground. Despite the bounce, I’d call this a volley. 

The reason all the AD drama is trade drama and not “where will he sign?” drama is that he still has another year left on his contract (plus a player option year that does not appear to be relevant). 

I absolutely believe he wrote it that way because, a) it’s a technically correct journalistic construct so he could get away with it, but also, b) it’s extremely funny in this context.

Isn’t that the opposite of what would happen? As far as I know, the publishers are who decide the (non-sale) game price, not the store. If anything, won’t the war of increasing publisher/developer share keep game prices the same? (I have no faith it would cause game prices to drop)
