I am excited for this. I was interested in the game, but sadly one thing stopped me from continuing through it. I recognize this is pretty sad, but...the horizontal camera movement is inverted. I just couldn’t get past that.

I totally agree, because those are pretty good comparisons. My friend has talked my ear off about FF7 and OoT over the years.

FF7 is such an overrated game. Like Ocarina of Time, or the Beatles. Did amazing things for the genre/industry and helped push the medium into a new era and gets way too much credit for it’s actual quality because of that.

Here’s at least one person who plays and loves GT1 and 2 to this day. There are other considerations to appreciating videogame graphics other than “does this have the most polygons and pixels?”. Graphics are worth appreciating in their historic context, as well as the context of the set of “rules” of the fixed…
