My previous daily driver before now was an RX8, which had a single-piece seatback/headrest that was far enough back that you could probably wear a helmet and it not rub the leather in abusive driving. First car - too low for real use. Car now, they’re worthless. So.... Not really.

As someone who explicitly works in that business, for a Kia dealer, I will say the perception is still strong enough with buyers that many people I speak to are sub 600s that want that “under 10k new” deal that simply doesn’t exist anymore.

Tau + supercharger would be a solid combination for a traditional GT halo car. But that engine is getting a little bit old now, so I’m sure a new large-capacity engine is already on the drawing board somewhere.

Could take two of their turbo fours and make a TT V8 with 500-ish HP if people also want a gas-burner option
