There is so much to explore compared to the last two. Some cool little areas to visit

You can fast travel to Horizon Hubs, which can be discounted until free by smashing the discount boards placed around the map.

You can also unlock skill points from just doing things around the map and buy a perk which allows you to then fast travel anywhere :)
