Muskrat also lives his life like he has no kids. A bunch of the older ones have called him an absentee father.  A deadbeat, even.

Fart A Lot O  I love it.. I recently attended a concert with A Lot of Old People in attendance and someone in the vicinity of my seat kept farting through the entire concert... It was Awful...

They keep trying to build AI robots to replace factory workers, when clearly the lower hanging fruit is to use AI to replace the CEOs. Computer models are very good at solving optimization problems. You don’t even need a robot for that, just a server in an office will do.

Not after you’ve loaded up your company with mindless yes-men.

You know, we need a snappy name for Donald Trump’s sad retirement home for racist dipshits.

There’s no reason for anyone to waste time refuting things Trumpists say anymore. We all know feelings don’t care about facts, to borrow a Shapiroian phrase.

Well they moved the goal posts on that one quite a bit… the “$40k” Cybertruck doesn’t exist, the “base” model is now $80k… or in Tesla speak “$74,490 after 5 years of fuel savings”.

It's not really efficient tho. How many people can a car hold? 5? How many people can a monorail hold, 300ish? Do the math. How many people can be moved an hour, one vs the other? Is the cost still trashy like a 1 lane car tunnel?

A lot of us did say that at the time. We were labeled “anti-science” conspiracy theorists.

I can’t tell if this is satire or not.

i ain’t reading all that
i’m happy for u tho
or sorry that happened

You're right. The Boring Company wasn't an end run around high speed rail that might have cut Tesla's market share. That was Hyperloop.

This project exists for one reason: to suck money and attention away from legitimate public transportation options. It’s a boondoggle. Muskrat has openly admitted this! Quit treating this abomination as anything more than an elaborate troll project.

See I would have slapped several of these bad boys in the tunnel and get some Velociraptor suits:

Pretty sure sdfg is talking about this:

Every time I hear Musk talk about RoboTaxi’s or cars driving themselves I just point to the tunnel. If they can’t do it there in a 100% controlled space, in the absolute 100% best case scenario, what makes anyone think they can do it on public roads.

I’m in the same boat as you.

You are assuming that the housing market drops but your wealth and spending power isn’t similarly eroded?

27,600 in 2018 dollars= $35,000 in 2024. So your same car is actually cheaper in real terms.

Funny when you see the amount of “Here we don’t call 911" merch sold around the country
