Drive a wrx and even I am a massive fan of this car, especially the redesign. Ill give honda immense credit for actually asking customers what they thought of the previous one... then actually fixing it.

2021 27,141 wrx sold, not insignificant. though wrx/sti are lumped together I think.

subaru has no issue selling wrx in the manual, its somthing north of an 85% take rate and it DOES have an automatic option.

Though I think all the newer ones have switched to that 2.4L now, but its been so long I cant remember. 

subaru had an issue with this I think in the foresters and outbacks with the 2.0L non forced induction engine.
