Its shocking, they stay warm enough to keep your wipers from icing up in snow. very handy to have.
my mid trim wrx has heated mirrors and wipers (element under where the wipers rest) and seats.
my wrx is a 6 speed as well. It just doesnt seem to do a ton, not nothing, but not a ton really.
That and paying the sales tax on the new one... magically coughing up $1500-$3000 because someone else fucked up... ugh.
The other thing. Having just your ambers on shouldnt give the dashboard indication that your HEADLIGHTS are. I never understood that.

Borrowed my moms highlander for a long (900+) mile drive to the coast with a buddy, so left her and my dad my 18' wrx for the week. He taught me stick anyway (13 years ago) so I knew it was in good hands. They took it to dinner the next night haha.
Ehhh.... our little 2 or 2.5L engines really cant engine brake.... for much.
Ill just ship it to Rich Rebuilds shop and he would replace the single affected component for maybe 5k.
