Stock internal FA the given safe max is generally regarded to be around 350 wheel tq (close to or past that rods start bending). Not sure on hp correlation probably in the same range of 350 whp... which means figure roughly 10-15% losses on drivetrain and slightly under 400 crank?

im on my 2nd wrx, so Im not talking out of my ass really. Its like anything if its got quirks... and they ALL do, VW and suby both.. plan for it and itll be fine.

I need to tune my wrx but sigh... dont have the like 1-2k to get started.  If anything to dump the stock tune which is just so fucking awful.
