My current location in the US midwest doesnt use either for heating. Its all natural gas which is very cheap. Even during the two week stretch we were below 0* C an actually in the range of 0* to -20*c (unusual for us for that length of time). My bill for the month was barely over 100 USD.  we almost beat our record…

That and honestly people that can afford even the cheapest of EV’s.... isnt exactly poor.
