You can do it just fine like for longer trips. For the vast majority of charging for EV’s its not recommended to do it “every single day”.

we do have a thing called negligent homicide in the US.

The dudes in the lifted trucks driving them like they handle at miata levels are far far worse.  At most the soccer moms in the suvs are doing 55 in the left lane on thier cell phone.  Annoying, but not too fatal for everyone else.
