not surprising its making almost the same hp/tq and loses less through drivetrain loss.

Working on your car is known to the state of california to cause cancer... or something.

With two more cylinders (also the lag is almost non existent).

You can make pretty safely 300 at the wheels.

In a performance car with awd... yeah... it is.

my wrx 2.0 6mt gets near 28mpg has awd to boot so its not as insane an option as one would think.

Ah see I drew the cheating whore card while starting her business trading in a wrx to fund a business loan and getting stuck with a 05ish cavalier after mine.

The dualshit transmission and ford, name a more iconic fail duo.

have to wonder if led would offset the drag produced

Yeah... here in the midwest thats not super common so MOST people will not be able to. Then top on extreme heat and winters and well 125mi just flat out isnt enough range sadly :(

fucking love this thing, but damnit I need something with a bit more of a range buffer. work commute is ~62mi round trip :(

ok the camry traps a full second slower than the tesla... and the gsx is 1.2 seconds slower, but sure...   a second difference isnt fast at all.

hot take: I would die (repeatedly) trying this.

my wrx 1/4's at ~14seconds @ ~98mph for reference and its not a terribly slow car either.

part of me wants to just say... built STI?  could make an absolute monster of a car thats still daily driveable, seats 4, has awd for winters, and comes in manual flavor.

I mean.... drop 200k on anything. fucking done. why is this a question? Hell why settle for a production car? Why not build one. With that kinda cash literally you can do ANYTHING.

This... made my day.  Seriously love my winters.

honestly im not even sure my wrx with its summer tires would have fared well in this situation.

Didnt say it was feasible for everyone.  Just that it IS an option. I do remember car washes in north iowa still being open in december... now you cant pretend it doesnt get cold there (just south of the MN border near rochester).

you bend down and spray or some auto washes do spray underbody.
