I regularly used to fly between two cities for work, down on Monday and back on Friday.

A long time ago, Clarkson argued on Top Gear that “good cars” should be allowed to use bus lanes. Good cars could be expensive cars, but also just... good - a 20 year old Lancia for example, or any Alfa.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh..... nope!

Needz moar butonz

The pope’s pregnant?

Hey Brian - typo up top... “There are the series car ones”

Just checked the UK site and we’re stuck with the 218BHP version. Damn.

I like Mustangs. Never had one, of course, but I can see the appeal.

The vote-panel said it: “There is nothing more expensive than a cheap BMW” - the minute something even halfway serious goes wrong on this it’s going to cost thousands.

Sounds like you had a ball, but it turns out that an article about tires is about as interesting as an article about tires - not your fault though!

OK, the aircon idea is pretty neat.

Well, shit. I can confirm this works for UK licence (sic) plates too! Not that there’s any reason that it wouldn’t, but it’s pretty sobering.

You know it’s not a documentary, right?

Have been to Bangalore, can confirm.

I had a 2001 E39 BMW 540i - bought used in 2005. Fantastic car - kept it for six years, mainly because I sensibly took the BMW extended warranty out when I bought it.

Well, thank fuck for that. I wasn’t going to bother ordering one, but now I will.

Yep. Same with kids. I love my kids, and I can cope with their mucus, vomit and various disgusting bodily output.

Here in the UK we’re used to seeing US cars priced as bargains. But that exact same model and year (minus the shed on the back, of course) would struggle to sell for £2k here ($2800). And I suspect the shed reduces its value rather than increases it.

My diesel SQ5 has a sound amplifier on the inside and outside and I must admit that if I turn it off then the noise is pretty crap.

Woohoo! I’m off to queue outside the theater now...
