Ah - that makes sense! Thanks
$20 for a car wash? Here in the UK, where everything car-related is way more expensive than in the US, we’d never pay more than $8 for a car wash.
I’ve slow-clapped displays of bad driving (even as a pedestrian!) and the most typical response tends to be gestures of apology!
Why did you come all the way into here, presumably read the article, read the comments and then take the time to reply to a comment, all for a show and/or presenter you clearly loathe?
Hey. Could be worse. You could be Scottish, like me.
Of all the many things that depress my about this, is the number of people who are just numbly standing at the side, filming this shit on their phones.
Oh yeah. That’s terrific humour, right there - well observed, totally in the moment. Here’s your gold star, now go in the corner and lick it.
Jeez. In the UK, before you pass your dedicated bike test (and are over 17), you’re limited to 125cc and 12BHP. Quite why anyone who has a licence to ride more would consciously settle for a 12HP bike is beyond me.
This isn’t unique to the US - the same attitude seems depressingly common in the UK.
What? Err no -that’s not how speed cameras work. They use laser or radar that measures how long the signal takes to return from the vehicle.
You guys don’t even know you’re born - look at the size of that parking space! Poor driver would freak if they tried to parallel park in a European parking space...
That doesn’t answer my question as to whether people are still using it. Are you?
There are still people on DriveTribe?
The launch was from Rosyth, about three miles over the Firth of Forth, where we live in Queensferry (near Edinburgh).
Well, we’re a one-car family with two drivers, one kid and a dog, and a sporty SUV fits right in where an R8 never would.
That is... brilliant! You made my night - thanks!
Christ. I fly UK to Utah every couple of months which involves (at least) three planes - I’m going to take the train from now on. They extended the Dover-Calais tunnel to get to New York, right?
