I always thought the sheer variety of unrelated looking scenes from the Radioactive Man movie couldn’t possibly fit together into one film. Then I saw ‘Aquaman’.

My favourite part about that guy is the unnecessary meanness of, “I don’t recall saying good luck.”

Yep, this guy was my choice by a mile. He’s so entirely open and unapologetic about his actions. We should all aspire to be this guy.

Someone like Hank Scorpio or Frank Grimes immediately come to mind, but if you’re looking more for one-scene characters, I’ve always had a soft spot for Hugh Jass:

The first album of theirs I heard was ‘Alligator’, which I loved straight away. Almost every album after that I started off thinking, “Eh, maybe they’ve lost it” for the first listen or two before it clicked and then I absolutely loved it. (Though ‘Sleep Well Beast’ still hasn’t quite gotten there yet.) Normally I’m a

First time I listened to them I hated the music and today I’m a diehard fan.

They’re an acquired taste, but once it clicks, it clicks hard.

I have been a music nerd for quite a few years but for whatever reason The National never clicked with me so I ignored them for ages. Now out of curiosity I’m listening to Sleep Well Beast and this album absolutely rules. Have they always been this good and 15 year-old me was an idiot or did they just get this good

haven’t listened to it yet, but light years is one of the best songs they’ve ever written and hairpin turns is one of the worst.
