Put a movement sensor on the pot, so when someone is near, Groot wont move. And you can see him dance ONLY when far or not in front of the pot!
Well, if I'm correct, Jackie Chan started like a stunt double, so he had experience on tha field before hand. That reminds me of the scene on The Punisher, when Thomas Jane actually cross a wall (not a real wall but) and smashed his head to a real wall on the other side.
