Depends on the issue at hand. Would you agree that there are some issues on which we should not compromise, or is everything up for grabs?

Why is Gainor posing with a tall glass of room temperature milk?

Yeah, man, I hear you. Here’s the thing though: all of this hand wringing over party unity doesn’t really accomplish anything. Just like the dems want progressives to toe the line, insisting they do the same doesn’t really address the practicalities of the political system. I would love if somehow every

Normally, I’d jump right on this bandwagon, but he won. Take the W.

Awesome. Next time there’s a question about what’s best for the majority of citizens, I’ll be sure to consult my book of your fucking hobbies so that we don’t accidentally take one away.

I’m going to ask nicely and offer them pie. Who doesn’t want pie?

Jesus fucking christ, did I unknowingly quote the west wing? I’m seriously humiliated.

You seem like you know things, so let me ask you: If the right to bear arms is absolute, why were qualifying phrases included in the first place? Why is not simply “The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed?” You don’t see similar language in the fourth or sixth amendments, for example.

A well regulated militia is composed of random assholes with guns.

Why don’t you tell me what you think the “point” of the revolution was, superstar.

Really? George Washington, who was born in Virginia, came to America, where he already was because he was born here, to escape an overly controlling monarchy? Thomas Jefferson, also born in Virginia, also came here, where he already was because he was born here, to escape the monarchy? And James Madison, also born

My original comment was in response to the “second amendment” argument that it is a right of the individual to keep and bear arms. I think that’s not correct, given that the conditions for keeping weapons is laid out in the first two phrases. Also, I find the “defense against tyranny” arguments pretty tiresome as

At some point in the mid-90's I think our universe merged with one that could commonly be called “hell.” Like in Event Horizon. Maybe it was when the LHC went online? That was 2008, though.

My point was, despite the fact that I did make a mistake on the particulars, whatever gun control laws that are now in place do not work. Furthermore, whenever these incidents happen (as long as it’s a white guy doing the shooting) the narrative is the same: there were already laws in place that should have prevented

I think we’re done.

I’m still here, bro. It was meant to illustrate the absurdity of relying upon the current system as an effective form of keeping dangerous weapons out of the hands of people who shouldn’t have them.

Holy. Shit.

You have very serious problems with reading and with definitions.

What in the fuck are you talking about. The bill of rights was not part of the original constitution.
