GM murdered Saab. Was regrettable for sure.

This list is invalid without Mazda’s Soul Red Mica (and it’s follow-ups). There is no better colour on a mass-produced car today.

Whatever their malfunction is, it’s deliberate and self-inflicted.

Yeah, I get it people suffer from mental issues but now people just use it as a cover for shitty behavior. It’s like people claiming they need a “emotional support animal” and they just do it so they don’t have to pay a pet deposit or pet rent.

Dude, these “what do you want to know about X car I’m about to review” articles show up pretty frequently on Jalopnik. It’s not like Golson is exhibiting “privilege”, whatever that is supposed to mean in this context; he (as with other reviewers) is giving people an opportunity to have specific questions of interest ad

To be fair people who blame the president, regardless of party, for directly affecting things like the economy or gas prices are pretty dim.

I dunno, did you take the New Reading course?

The Nissan Altima is the obvious answer, but there’s another that I’ve observed in my commute: Dodge Chargers. They’re getting up there in years and don’t hold value. As a result, they’re landing in buy-here pay-here lots and being snatched up by idiots.

I can somewhat understand paying a subscription for software, even though I don’t necessarily like that; but subscriptions tied to hardware dependent functions make very little sense to me. Heated seats, headlight functionality, radar cruise control, even extra power from the engine/motor, etc. if the car comes

I live in the Oklahoma City area. I would love to know where in the state this person lives so that I (and my own Jag, a 1996 XJ12) can stay well clear of her.

You know, Google is free.

I’m not sure ‘its headlights were taycan’ is getting the recognition it deserves.

We are not a hive mind.

Then they’ve correctly identified their audience. Most Americans are dumber than a box of rocks.

Yea the price seems crazy to me. But I’m sure there are only a handful of manufacturers that are building EV buses. It’s just weird to me none of the auto manufacturers with proven EV tech hasn’t built something. Just take the F150 lighting drivetrain multiply it by 2 subtract all but one motor and bam, EV bus for

Maybe if they renamed it the “Trump School Bus Act” the idiots would believe the corrupt cheeto did it and jump on board. After all, he does sometimes have a very school bus complexion.

This was my thought.  Great program, great use of EV tech, but well over $300K per doesn’t only sound slightly absurd, but at least 2x (if not 3x) the expected cost per bus.

Or power by child labor treadmills inside the bus.

And if Donald The Criminal manages to squat his fat ass in the Oval Office again, you can be sure he’ll cancel the program. The ignoramus (“Magnets don’t work underwater.”) will replace them with electric busses running off of coal-powered on-board generators.

EV school busses seem to be a very good use of EV technology. Known route lengths. Known payload capacity. Nightly plug in times. Set locations for plug ins. Not making children breath diesel smoke. Lower maintenance.
