I used to have a 05 Sienna. The interior plastics were hard & plasticky. But you know what? Even after 12 years and 270K miles the interior was still like new. Nothing faded, no cracked plastics, fabric on seats was similar as day 1.

I used to work at a Lexus dealer in the mid to late 90's. I don’t think I ever saw a LS400 with anything not lined up perfectly, everything else was also close to perfect. Only the ES300's were slightly eh. But back then pretty much any American car, luxury or not had horrendous(compared to Lexus, BMW, Mercedes,…
Key words, “ Should have”. Reality, it seems like education in the U.S. is going backwards and there are way too many people who are learning zilch in school. And that is not administrators or educators fault.
They always hope, when they say “I’m going to call my lawyer”, you back off and let them do whatever they want. I don’t hear it often, but every time someone tries that with a B.S. “service dog”, and they get called out, almost always they try to play that “lawyer” card. That typically pisses me off enough to…
I own a businesses and I don’t have my attorney on speed dial. Damn, I don’t even have his cell phone number. I must be doing something wrong.
If I had a dollar for every time someone says “I’m going to call my lawyer” for the most petty and dumb stuff......
First Tesla, now GM. What is this with trying to reinvent the headlight stalk or knob to the left of the steering wheel? It’s like Tesla and now GM has engineers and or bean counters that really hate their prospective customers. I guess this way if the screen goes bad, you’re forced to go get the screen fixed ASAP. …
People gotta be bold and risk takers to buy a car from a car maker that looks like it chances of going under are over 50%. Do these buyers contemplate if/when Fisker goes belly up, their will probably be no software support or parts availability for a car only made in the couple of thousands and for a year or two? …
I’ve said this before on Jalopnik. I knew a contractor who was clearly not ‘Red’ play this sort of game. Didn’t have a bank account, wanted only cash payment, didn’t have a driver’s license but drove anyway. He always talked about some ‘mosi’ or some crap and had some B.S. piece of paper that said he’s not owned by…
Maybe more of a ‘red’ issue, but I don’t thin completely. They’re mostly just nuts who want to get away with stuff without paying.
Basically their ultimate goal is mostly, not to pay taxes, fees, etc. They’ll gladly get paid in U.S. dollars, but don’t want taxes taken out but want the luxury of mooching of government funded programs.
Got that right. The parker ranger has patience and professionalism to put up with this guy’s crap for a 1/2 hour.
I wonder how this clown bought a car? Used currency issued by the U.S. Government to buy a car, uses money to buy gas(hopefully), yet doesn’t want to follow other laws & rules of the U.S. government and a civilized society. These people constantly amaze me. Also, if he doesn’t recognize U.S. laws why doesn’t he…
I would rather keep Oklahoma, and give them some random island in the North Atlantic or North Pacific.
That looks good. The problem is, a dealer saying it’s coming means very little. When Mitsubishi corporate actually announces it is coming to the U.S., then be excited, if you like it.
But but but...I need a Suburban to haul me, my wife, 1.7 kids, 1.1 dogs, and 3 bags of mulch.
These are all fast, relatively. My first car that I regularly drove in the mid 90s, a 1984 MB 190E 2.3 was I believe new 12-13 seconds 0-60 when new. By the mid 90s it was probably 15 seconds 0-60. My first new car, a 94 Galant was I believe 9.2ish from factory. I guess I would have loved most of these lowly cars…
The 3 still looks okay. Just saw the nip/tuck version a couple of days ago, looks good. The Model Y & X are just plain ugly, bland, ungainly looking. Of course owning a Tesla used to be somewhat unique. Now, especially since the 3, X, Y all kinda look alike and you see soo many on the roads, they look even more…
Before the ungainly Model Y, was the Model X. Just sayin’.
So it wasn’t just me seeing things when I saw my local mall a few weeks ago have it’s parking lo swell by 3-4 times with new Tesla’s. Must have went from a consistent about 150 cars to 500-600 cars stored.
