Give me a 300 or so mile range EV, about/under 4,000lbs., charges in about a 1/2 hour, 0-60 in the 6-7 second range, and excellent quality & reliability.   Oh, and a sedan for less than $50K.  Not too much to ask for.

A few years ago would have and did consider a Tesla Model 3.  Today, I wouldn’t buy one even if it’s quality rivaled Toyota’s.  Musk, his senile conspiracy theories are major turn offs to buying anything he makes.  All he had to do is stay neutral, 50/50.

Nighthack Black Pearl was a great color. Loved it on my TL as it wasn’t actually black.  At night pretty much looked black but in sun a closer look would bring out various colors.

How does Mazda’s Soul Red get left off? Also, I find magnificent, Nori Green from Lexus.

Really neither party should given control of finances. They have all dug a $34 trillion and counting hole.

About time. The pathfinder has morphed into a quasi minivan in the vain of the Toyota Highlander.  The old XTerra basically replaced the original Pathfinder. Dropping the XTerra was a bone headed move by Nissan considering the historical success of body on frame off road capable SUVs like the 4Runner and Wrangler.

In the 90s I used to do stupid stuff with only 113bhp and friends cars only had in the vicinity of 100-140bhp. Looking back on those days, I am still surprised we didn’t do worse and end up seriously hurt or dead. These days all the stories you hear, teenagers & young adults are just seriously stupid and brain dead.

Bunch of others that didn’t look good even when they came out: 1st generation BMW  X3, 1st generation Mercedes-Benz GLK.   Both just looked odd with poor proportions.

Another: The Chevy HHR. I never even liked the Plymouth PT Cruiser but the HHR was just trying to milk the success of the PT Cruiser, unsuccessfully.

I nominate the 1st generation Cadillac CTS.   Exterior and Interior just didn’t look good.  Too much going on on the exterior and the interior just looked cheap, like it belonged in a Chevy.  The CTS was the test car for Art & Science theme and then got nicely cleaned up with the STS and the 2nd generation CTS.

Crap like this is why you don’t feel bad when the finance companies go bust, the dealer goes kaput, or the buyer ends up broke and bankrupt.    Just stupid stupid stupid all around.  It’s amazing these days with all the information available at the touch of a finger, people still make the dumbest impulsive decisions

$480/month with $0 down for a lease is still a good deal for a $50K+ plus car. And it’s not like the Nautilus is junk.

Best used choice, current or previous generation Lexus LS awd. utterly reliable, good on gas, supremely comfortable for long drives. Should also consider a Genesis G80/G90, Lexus GS350 awd, Infiniti Q50, Cadillac CT5, a pre-owned BMW 5-series or Mercedes-Benz E350.

If you’re driving 50K miles a year, the reliability reputation of Alfa Romeo coupled with lack of dealer network for servicing would should be a big no-no.

Purposefully self-inflicted anxiety.

I once had a cop check a temp tag in NJ(2022). They thought it was legit even though I pointed out to them it looked fake and was expired.  Never ran the plate.  A month or so later when they came back for the same person, another cop noticed the smudges in printing, ran the plate and figured it out.   Some are dumb

This Scott guy is soo convinced that he’s going to get mucho money out of the Government.   I would love to see follow up stories on how much garbage he spews out of his mouth when he gets nothing.

Wait.....so what you’re telling me is the American President isn’t in complete & direct control of the economy of the U.S. or the rest of the world? **sarcasm**

Finance classes should be mandatory also from 9-12.  Being that the magnitude of financial stupidity is soo high in the U.S. maybe it should be mandatory in college also.

Yeah, I’m no fan of the NRA, but they are just one part of it.
