another add on to autocross racing, is to record your runs. You'd be amazed at how well you think you did around the course because you didn't hit any cones that time, but then once you watch the tape... you realize how horrible of lines you took and how sketchy your braking and accelerating was

second submission because it's kind of more of a joke.

very true. especially because you get to drive YOUR car to the limits. not someone elses that won't handle, accelerate, or stop like yours would.

Driving in New York City. Not only will it teach you how to drive with distractions every where around you and to not be distracted by them... but as my driver from the airport to the hotel said... "when i first started driving, my father told me to just worry about what's in front of me. Don't worry about who's

i'm going to narrow it down a bit more and say nothing 'murican

it's embarrassing turned heroic lol

i changed my clutch in the winter in michigan... FWD. said i was never going to do it again and i would pay someone if i ever needed to.

photo credit is to volkswagen so that narrows it down a bit.

Now playing

this is an accident in the sense that he didn't purposely drive down the run off.

more like "loon of the day"!

collision. your insurance is going to pay for it anyways (provided you have it) and usually theres so much involved that it would then turn into a project car if you were to do it yourself.

i had to lower my fuel tank in my car to change out the fuel pump and run new lines. protip, do it on a nearly empty tank.

my transmission jack is my friend that waits for the transmission to fall on him. then he brings it out :)

frame repair. i couldn't imagine anyone in their own garage having the proper tools and equipment to twist back a frame.

thats what happens when you yell don't taze me bro.

lol no not really. but i just couldn't see myself paying extra money (especially price gouged extra money) for a paint job and sound. I've seen these "try" to race autocross, with a couple different drivers and they were not good there, and i've seen them do some stop light drags, and they weren't good there either.

but then it's almost like a civic with a fart can and a fancy paint job. sounds fast and looks fast... but doesn't go fast.

it is pretty cool, but it's not all that "impressive". using the technology available in the 2000's to replicate something from the 60's doesn't seem all that crazy.

that's all perspective. i don't really care for that body style. I didn't like the new one for a while either though. That one is growing on me though.

yeah i guess all the money went into calculations instead of flight ability ^^ but if it works it works!
