Hi parents and other guardians against CHILD TRAFFICKUNG. Please be aware that as the logo shows, the website is not “Frank,” but rather “F RANK,” which is well known child trafficking lingo for the system of ranking attractiveness and value of abductees amongst traffickers. As indicated by the speech bubble around

I don’t think I’ve been called that before, and I still don’t know what happened. I guess the 19th Amendment was adopted in 1920, but if that’s what Promising Young Women is about I’ve been very misled by everything I read about it. Carey Mulligan was in “Suffragette”, which took place in 1912.

Except he would've been given significantly less had regular dipshits like us not "stuck it to hedgefund managers". We have nothing to bitch about here.

Maybe I’m just being cynical, but I expect that if WB had stayed silent on the issue, Fisher would have been rage-tweeting about that, too.

WarnerMedia probably needs to read the room better, but so does Fisher.

Mr. Fisher needs to learn that when everything is an outrage, nothing really gets to be an outrage.

Is Fisher trying to position himself as a civil rights hero? He was treated badly by a boss who treats everybody badly. Most of us are in that same category.

Ray Fisher seems to be the kind of person who will insert himself in any and all conversations. I’m sorry his feelings got hurt doing JL. I am. But move the fuck on. Get over yourself and that situation. I got screwed over by two companies in a row back in the late ‘00s-early 10's. Guess what? I didn’t give a rat’s

Leave it to Ray Fisher to make this all about him. Does he think his situation is even remotely in the same ball park as what happened to George Floyd?

It definitely smacks of wanting to redirect that energy toward him.

Pretty much.

Is he implying that WB’s handling of his issues with Josh Wheedon is similar to George Floyd getting murdered by the police? Or am I reading too much into it?

Very much this. There have been enough accounts of Joss Whedon being shitty to people both before and after Ray started speaking up that I never doubted he was poorly treated but every step of the way he’s gone about handling it in the worst ways.

And nobody’s calling him out that he thinks his gripes about his inconsequential role in a movie compares to someone actually dying?

Seriously. I think a lot of people want to be supportive of him and recognize change needs to happen, but he comes off so poorly.

Is it me or does Ray Fisher strike you as someone who was done wrong but is also kind of an asshole? See: Rose McGowan.

Ray Fisher wants to make it really clear that he NEVER wants to work again, doesn’t he?

AVclub profiting on this dumbass drama that is way past it’s expiration date.

Nice performance Ray

Yea it was a Cinemax original so it’s basically all action and unnecessary nudity. The plot is essentially that a career criminal (Antony Starr) gets out of jail and happens upon the new sheriff (who no one has met) meeting an untimely end as he is on his way to his new job in a small town. Criminal assumes the badge
