I hate Tim Allen as much as the next guy and deserves all the snark in the world, but this article was also just about incomprehensible.

Just FYI, you’re the guy this Tweet was about.
Exactly. My company is pretty generous with PTO but it all goes into one general bucket. Not many companies do separate vacation days and sick days anymore, but even then I don’t know if you can use a partial sick day for any type of medical appointment. It’s never been an issue though since a decent manager is just…
Companies not getting paid time off for doctor appointments is extremely normal. The actual egregious part here is that they only give five days of PTO, but most companies will give you general PTO days that you then have to take for doctor appointments, or just tell you to go and not put it in.
I think you’re right, there’s definitely a market for white collar workers trying to fill their free time, and an extra hundred or two dollars might be worth it. On the flip side, the people who are bearing the brunt of the economic impact might not want to buy a new system right now whether it’s $399 or $599.
While I fully agree, he was also not part of the Zoom reunion they did recently. Not a great year in terms of Fishburne being conspicuously left out of things.
Yeah I love season 6 too, for all the reasons you mention above. The end of the season, when Larry and Loretta go to the benefit, is legit touching in a way the show rarely was.
Season 4 might be my favorite season overall. In addition to standout episodes like the Car Pool Lane, the Producers storyline might be the funniest season-long arc, with a fantastic pay off in the finale. And the scene with Larry and the “instructor” at the Mexican restaurant might be the hardest I’ve ever laughed at…
Randall touches on it here, but the ending is absolutely brilliant. The look of sheer evil joy on Larry’s face as he maniacally waves the baton is just so so good.
I honestly appreciated that every action you can take in GoT is mapped to the controller in some way. No deciding which tools to load out before battles, or which skills to map and which to forget about (looking at you Witcher).
Gotcha! I can’t say I agree, but that makes much more sense.
The word “panties” is offensive, no matter what? Where did you come up with that?
There is so much originality in those Twitter comments my head is starting to spin.
Yeah, I didn’t think either stitching the eyes open or burning the money were even presented as mysteries.
I’m assuming it’s either the guns - if your guess is right and he had them in the video that could have prompted it - or tax issues.
Yeah, I was mostly being tongue in cheek, but I do think it’s funny that such a high percentage of hitman stories have the “getting out the game” hook as compared to just being about a working hitman.
There honestly aren’t that many shows and movies about hitmen. There are however far, far too many movies and shows about recently or soon to be retired hitmen.
What LW1 forgot to mention was that his boyfriend wanted to paint a blue lives matter flag on his toes.
You are way off on so many of these points - picking a starting point where any touch is unwanted, calling a casual touch on the shoulder a “sexual touch”, assuming that the only reason people flirt is to illicit a sexual response - that it’s clear you just outright don’t understand how flirting works.
Pretty sure the AVClub staff is more than 58% white.
