I think the guy is full of shit in general so hard to know what the real story is.

I’m pretty sure all those things you describe, outside of designing the card, are not done individually for each of the cards in the game. If they were, that would explain all the crunch!
If you wrote a headline about “the actual MVP”, with no other context as to who you’re referring to, and you were talking about someone other than the actual MVP, that would be very fucking stupid.
I got the “joke”, to the extent that simply saying something inaccurate is a joke.
Stacey Abrams is not Georgia’s actual governor. She should be, would be if not for voter suppression efforts by Kemp, and I wish she was. But she isn’t.
Succession’s theme song is so, so good that I actively look forward to the credits starting each episode.
The article literally tells you how many people he could hire with a 1% reduction in pay. Hint: it’s three.
Criminal Minds is the poorest possible man’s version of the worst episode of Hannibal.
I don’t even remember there is a modern day aspect in the games while I’m actively playing them, until all of the sudden I finish a story quest and the screen gets weird.
“What do they call kids born after quarantine sex?”
I mean Gawker as a whole took the position that a private citizen should only be allowed to sue the corporation that legitimately wronged them if they aren’t too poor to personally support all legal expenses.
I wasn’t old enough to remember (or be aware of) the reaction to Brosnan at the time. I always thought he was a great Bond though that made two very good Bond movies in Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies. But TWINE was middling (albeit with a great video game that is vastly underrated compared to Goldeneye) and Die…
“Then again, he also says that he thinks Bernie Sanders should drop out of the primaries and hand the Democratic nomination to Joe Biden, which is also not going to be an especially popular position”
I actually enjoyed the combat when I was appropriately leveled, but therein lies the problem... too often the combat solely came down to whether or not the number over your head was bigger than the number over theirs.
Hiring people to manage your money only works when you 1) hire the right people and 2) listen. And there are probably thousands of athletes/actors/singers out there who’ll tell you that most of those “smart” streamers won’t follow both of those rules.
I think the “grief-eater” aspect of it - or the idea that the monster isn’t killing just to kill, but also to fuck with everyone left - has the potential to be compelling compared to your standard monster story.
“If you look at athletics as a whole then we would finally have women competing at the level that normally exclusively men would be in.”
Pretty sure Luther is a TV show, which you so helpfully confirmed with the comment about Emmy noms, and not a movie which is what is clearly being discussed here in regards to his starring roles.
I wouldn’t trust many people to pull off an ending, but I trust the guy who did “The Book of Nora” wholeheartedly.
I think it was i09 whose initial review focused on how hard it would be to like a show that made you root for cops. And boy did that take not age well.
