We had 1 1/2 year for people to realize that all of his body language and the things he said screamed at you, “this guy doesn’t know what the fuck he’s doing”, and still there were some who still ended up voting for him. I hold out no hope for the next few years.

Seeing that I’m old I can commit to only one night every two weeks if the arthritis isn’t flaring up.

it’s hard to compare any catcher with Pudge though so that in itself is unfair, I don’t think anyone had any misgivings of Posada going in first ballot. As a Yankees fan and a fan of both of them I don’t know that Jorge would’ve gotten in but I don’t think he should have fallen off either.

You’re right about that and I understand that point, but I wanted to understand it seeing that the argument on its face to me seemed about being forceful as in violent. It’s a good idea to be present and diligent lest we have whinny baby Trump and his followers bitching and moaning about liberties and such. It’s

So the solution to solve the problems is to be forceful? Why would it be a good idea to fight with force when we live in a society that for all it’s faults and even with it’s violent culture abhors violence? If someone went with a good argument there and then told people they’d be killed, all of the arguments that

The irony seems lost on her.

let’s develop embiid and noel while they’re rehabbing knee and foot injuries! makes sense!

And all those people who listen to Mikey Miss and have stupid opinions we’re wrong to say that they should have picked a player from Australia with limited tape and would’ve been more so proven to be wrong today. Sam Hinkie is not a total idiot and “the process” has it’s merits to a degree but if he wanted to prove

That’s true, but Embiid was very athletically gifted and Lebron wasn’t looking to dominate the boards at that time so an athletically gifted big man could’ve been just what he wanted. Then again, it’s tough to say because as you clearly mention he wanted proven talent.

You’re right! Maybe they could’ve picked Dougy McBuckets...

“Hey let’s draft all these centers and not develop any of them, I’m sure everything will turn out right.”

I don’t think he would’ve been traded. Remember the Wiggins situation had more to do with the similar positions he and Lebron play.

Yeah neither the drafting him or sitting him were difficult decisions because even injured Embiid was one of three surefire NBA prospects, there was no other player to draft. He was injured, why would you either play or rush him to play? That’s not a strategy, that’s the only logical conclusion.

I love this whole Embiid thing! It’s just so sad that fans of “The Process” are using this as their calling card to say that Hinkie was right.

I think that would probably be illegal since it would mean they’d pay his company and would be a conflict of interest... I just read what I wrote and realized that they won’t give a fuck and do it regardless.

I think he may get there but I don’t think he’s there now. Albeit you’re absolutely correct Jordan had better teams and both Lebron and Jordan can make players exponentially better. Lebron James is the only other player in history that can be in the conversation when it comes to MJ.

“we just decide not to look like pussies and accept that they beat us.”

“[Trump] said that he is going to represent all Americans. He said that over and over again,” King noted. “I believe that’s his intent, but I think we also have to consistently engage with pressure, public pressure. It doesn’t happen automatically.”
