To be fair, everyone was hot on Ricky Rubio that draft and nearly no one recognized the player coming from Davidson which was a huge mistake. I had my doubts when it seemed he kept getting hurt but I had a feeling he’d be really good although not this great.

The day a team works in a “keep clean and get paid” clause into a contract (unlikely anytime soon) then they can go ahead and fire a player for doing so. Not even companies in the non-sports world can just go and fire an employee for drug use on many occasions, sometimes they’re mandated to help the employee seek…
