its the same way for ps4 as well. A fairly decent solution I’ve found is buying in-line power adapters for your consoles. Hook those up to your modem and console and your 8-24 hr downloads are cut to an hour at the most (well at least for me.)

You’re crazy. I love my PS3-4s but the fact that I can’t plug and play but instead would have to do a bunch of extra bullshit just to upgrade my HDD is annoying.

I bought one of these to put in the room where my PS4 is bc downloads and online gaming was horrible. This thing does the job. Speeds were significantly increased and havent looked back since. Way cheaper and less time consuming than trying to get another ethernet cable across my house.
