I would actually expand the Trumper Sticker vehicles to any car with the rear covered in bumper stickers. Special hatred goes out to people that have 13.1 or 26.2 stickers. Are you driving around hoping that when you stop, someone will randomly come up to you and start talking about marathon running?

Rumor was this movie takes place back in the Raimi Spider-Man days.. for some reason. I think that trailer kind of confirms it? No cell phones. The outfit styles. The guy playing a PSP on the subway

Good. While Ragnarok was a breath of fresh air, Love and Thunder showed his style has limits and he selfishly wasted the entirety of Jason Aaron’s Thor run, a decade of source material and arguably the best Thor has ever been, on cheap gags. He’s better off working on his own smaller projects.

Best wishes for a full recovery and good health Woz. You are one of the few good things to ever come out of Apple. We need your humanity.

I always thought that “The Girl in the Fireplace” was underrated.

That scene where he wipes Donna’s memory was utterly heart-breaking, especially with the late great Bernard Cribbins’s contribution. Thankfully Cribbins filmed some scenes for the specials before his death, so will be returning posthumously.

...but then why not include something like Chainsaw Man? That first season wrapped in like the last week of December. It’s just weird that there are other great series that could be mentioned that actually aired in 2023, but we’re resorting to technicalities to highlight a series from the previous year.

A forklift incident... None of my forklift incidents, nor any I witnessed, were substantial enough to blow up a building (aside from some employer sanctioned intentional acts of destruction).

Makes you wonder how much they are losing on their delivery vans.

It’s even crazier when you realize 40k is 33% of the cost. “Which third of the truck can we get rid of?”

Cutting 40 grand from production seems like an nearly insurmountable challenge. If you didn’t engineer in profitability from the start of a product its going to be REALLY hard to find it later.  I have no doubt there is still some low hanging fruit, but that is a lot of needed fruit and not all of it is going to be

Seriously like insanely bad. I don’t use my phone when watching TV but with this show it was just difficult to pay attention. This episode was the first one to feature decent fights and I do think Thrawn is interesting but, damn the show is a burger without any meat.

That was a really bad show. I think it was worse than Obi-Wan.

I thought this was the intention as well and that the story would wrap up in the movie against Thrawn.

This time they didn’t take it to the town’s physician. You gotta give them that.

Wondering if this indicates that the asteroid is less dense than anticipated. There were some theories that it’s not a large, solid rock but a loose amalgam of dust and rocks held together by gravity.

From what I understand actual walking is considered difficult to accomplish and inefficient for anything really heavy.  It’s a joint thing I think.

Time will tell whether the latter half of Frieren’s first season will maintain its pace as a thoughtful slice-of-life fantasy series that takes its time to meditate over death and the beauty of life or if those foundations will give way, transforming it into yet another action-centric fantasy anime in an

I miss Thinkgeek :( I agree, what Thinkgeek sold for the most part were evergreen products - video game, fantasy and sci-fi collectibles. It was a really neat place. The 8ft of shelves that showed up at the front of Gamestop stores was not a replacement.

I think the problem is most of GameStop’s money now probably
