I hope Godzilla Minus One wins for Best Visual Effects since 35 CGI artists did a better job than the 1000+ did on AntMan and the Wasp: Quantumania for way less budget.

Thanks for the thoughtful, kindly worded reply. I sincerely appreciate that.

I have not watched Every MCU show as many - like Hellstrom - didn’t pique my interest. That said:

Agreed. In fact, almost all superheroes are best shown as animation. The MCU has gotten dodgier and dodgier CGI in the final acts, not to mention the travesty of She-Hulk - but have you seen Marvel Anime from around 2010-11? Wow. Loved it.

The episode where Kelly was tasked as a contestant on a Jeopardy! like game show. Bud tutored her, but said her mind could only hold so many facts, Three guesses to what she forgot in the final round to lose it all?

Agreed. If only students were still taught real economics in middle school like us old farts were. By associating learning math with income, interest rates, household budgeting, various taxes, etc., many of us realized that paying six figures with ridiculous interest rates for an income that only pays mid-five

My take is that we’re looking at more and more AI for customer service. I get it. People are hard to deal with, with some are downright arseholes. So yeah, it takes a great mindset whose jaded to deal with us. That said, I’d rather interact with a knowledgeable Person than even the best programmed robot.

Considering that most Hollywood awards shows continue to decline in viewership (down another 9% at 6.3 compared to 6.9 in 2021), how much longer until we can just forget this bunch of self-important awards being on TV?

No Godzilla Minus One, even in the non-English category? What a crockpot of crap.

Earlier this year, Rodgers expressed his excitement over unveiling those Epstein flight logs, a perfectly normal thing for a man with a Super Bowl ring to anticipate.”

Wait til he pulls a Michael Schumacher (Keep Fighting Michael) and convinces a taxi driver to let him drive himself to the airport. I love that story!

Strong agree on Batman Bale’s on Howl’s Moving Castle as well as Lauren Bacall - who I felt was a scene stealer.

Surprised you didn’t reference the EV car carrier ships on fire from earlier this year.

No D&D? I’m running a Holiday themed one-shot called “Santac’Laus is Coming to Town - A Christmas Adventure” from DMsGuild for the older kids and adults. Even the adults who don’t play D&D enjoy listening in on the shenanigans at the table.

FWIW, I liked Majors as He Who Remains. I think he’s a decent actor. The eccentricities of the ultimate timelord make The Doctor look like a rank amateur. A TARDIS is trivial compared to his bracelet TempPad. Now that Loki is holding it all together, not much more needs to be said about the future of the Sacred

Animated:

In 2023, thanks to greedy billionaires and giant, shitty companies, buying just about anything is a horrible experience.

Reminds me of the advice Admiral Kirk gave Captain Picard in Star Trek: Generations:

As someone who watched “Superstars of Wrestling” with Joe Pedicino on WATL Channel 36 Atlanta, this movie will be a must see. I fondly remember Dad and myself watching that show with its 6 hours of various regional wrestling organizations like WCCW (Dallas), AWA (Minneapolis), CWA (Memphis), and WWF (NY) back in the

It will be interesting to see how, or even if, Marvel plans to tell the complicated backstory of how this highly advanced society of isolationists in Wakanda sat by for centuries while Africans waged war on each other, then sold the surviving losing sides into slavery around the world, or even how they could tolerate
