Well in all fairness, the last digets of a credit card number aren't too hard to come by without Amazon. While they should get seriously blamed, I think what Kyle Wagner was trying to get at was that Apple's policy needs changing even if Amazon tighten things up.

Here in Ireland I'm on an iPhone 3G (upgrading to the iPhone 5 when it's out) and my plan costs me €16 a month. I get free calls, free texts and 10 free landline numbers (Landlines are still big here) as well as 350mb of data. I'm never online much so it's perfect for me!

I think it could be to do with where you are - I've had issues with theses as well as FaceTime while in Spain (on various routers in various internet cafés).
