What neighborhood or suburb did you live in? Your choice of words tends to come solely from Macomb County. Pretty much everyone else sees how well Detroit is doing, even if the neighborhoods east and west of Woodward are slower to prosper.

I grew up in Shelby Township, having moved there from Eastpointe back when it was still East Detroit. I’ve seen how soulless Macomb County is first hand. Fuck that place. It’s only redeeming quality is that it isn’t St. Clair county.
