Wow. You’re the youngest Harley owner I’ve talked to, by at least 20 years. The main drag of the suburb a mile north of where I live is solid bikes on both sides most of the summer, and all the HD owners are middle aged dudes. The young guys here are on choppers, sport bikes, or vintage Japanese bikes and Cafe racers.

It may not be “a noise your typical Harley rider would likely be happy to own”, but isn’t the whole point that “your typical Harley rider” is getting too old to ride, and Harley needs to get some young blood in or they’re dead?

As important as the legacy of the Ur Quattro is in motorsports history, I just really don’t feel they’re worth more than a much safer, more modern, and more capable Impreza or WRX from the 90s or naughties. You can be pretty sure they imagined it might cover trans people. There have been trans people since well before 1964. They didn’t intend it to cover them, but back then being trans was considered a mental illness, and nobody cared about the “crazies”...
