I’m still not understanding the logic. You can make all the roadways you want. It will inevitably invite more people to live in a smaller area which in turn will invite more vehicles which will cause more traffic. Adding more lanes or a tunnel is a short term fix.

So is the issue that Apple filed a patent for a lock-out device which restricts other phone manufacturers from developing a driving lock-out? Why just go after apple? I’m sure there are a thousand other companies that create devices which people use while driving. Heck, you could even say that the apps are the ones…

There’s a piece that you’re missing from this article. I was at the CES presentation for VW and Ford’s Alexa integration. The unique aspect is being at home and saying:

I’d guess that the work needed to make a reactive AI in a turn based single player game is the problem. A multiplayer with no AI component just requires some physics, no decision or strategy needed on the programming side.

I wouldn’t limit the entrepreneurial spirit of some folks. If stripping it down to that level can bring in, lets say, $3,000, I’d gladly set up shop, pay the owner $500 per vehicle to strip them and send folks on their way to their appointment.
