Why stop with just one extra floorpan/battery combo? Hell, you could stack 4-6 of these on the trailer and raise less questions about your odd load with a simple U-Haul sidewall. It might even beat the range of the diesel RAV4 this way...

If that was the trailer to a Black Mirror episode of social injustice enabled by high tech hybrid car choices, I’d find it and watch it to the end.

You're thinking of the Bravo/Brava and first Punto? True that, forgot about them.

I mean “very very poorly made” is more Fiat territory, but according to different reliability tracking statistics, like TÜV, ADAC, Bilprövningen and others, the 480 had slightly more issues than average. Even if you controlled for mileage, were high mileage Volvos usually shine. That, and a somewhat futuristic

I am delighted the Volvo 480 gets such a prominent spot. Notice though how it hides its signature grille under the bumper. You know nothing about cubism unless you have seen this cockpit, too:

Great article and, yes, a neat choice to burn off excess money. But are you aware that Alvis is still making cars? That would be a first choice for me, if I would take care of those 50$ underwear notes instead of flushing them every time I go to the toilet to sit and read Jalopnik.

Took my then 4 yo to a classic car show last year. It was outside and raining heavily, we were soaked. He was super excited about a Volvo PV444 racecar. The owner invited him to sit inside. That alone has done more to make him interested in cars than anything else prior or before. All because the owner of this neat

Wait, no minivans? Passing.

“World's dumbest Hellcat driver" - because the Hellcat is such a sales success...in the World.

DC? In order to really blend in and earn the respect of your fellow motorists, get something Russian!

Very interesting. Question is, why not? It’s a super low effort way to rake in some fee money; if that is a possible way of handling it.

Get a better child seat?

+1.

I asked my local importer (Norway), since I drive the predecessor, Honda Stream. He loves the Jade, too, personally, but people in Europe don't seem ready for it either. No plans on making this sportsvan available.

...if you have a bunch, yes. But most families should be content with five ordinary seats and two more for visitors, shouldn't they?

It's not the Civic wagon, but the Civic van. I have the earlier version, a Stream, and it's the right size for a small family. Surprisingly awesome to drive, too.
