All of my issues with FF12 were addressed in FF13. The gambit system wasn’t very helpful when you needed to heal. The battle system was very slow and the world was very large and the music was dull and repetitive. The characters were very open-slate at least in the non-zodiac version and it didn’t give much direction…

I sort of skipped over FFXII (and its sequel) entirely and it is the only FF (non-sequel) game I have yet to get to see the credits of. I’m at the final boss in FF8 but I can’t move beyond its special move, I saw the ending years ago when my friend played it. I still have FF4:tAY, FF12:RW, FFT:A2-GotR, FF13-2, FF13-2,…

If I had seen this post 1.5 years ago I wouldn’t be at the job I had for that long. I wanted to quit right then and there but the job paid better than my last one but soon after... I wanted to leave. I’m so glad I’m on my way out.

Am I the only who think rarely used Nintendo IP (excluding Metroid) is rarely used because they’re sadly not-so-great. F-Zero and Star Fox were certainly different for its time but the tech nowadays allows for fast moving vehicles and 3D shmups are very rare and rarely do well in sales and in reviews.

I always enjoyed his Nintendo Directs. I was in Kyoto, Japan the night he died. My friend and I were looking at kotaku and it was there as one of the first articles. I’ll always remember the story where he personally went to GameFreak and worked on coding for Pokémon Gold and Silver, it was one of my favorite games…
