Having watched the show I can say I was pleased. If they had given Juice and Zach 5-7 more minutes that match is a standout on the show but as is the pre intermission stuff was all solid but didn't have time to go anywhere.

Oh he definitely improved in Japan. He has developed an offense that entirely centers around him doing very big flashy "American" style wrestling moves( powerbombs, spinebuster, reverse facebuster) but he hits them hard as hell with strong style emphasis.

I have AXS but I'm unfortunately in Peppa Pig hell with my baby cousins. I will have to watch it on NJPW World VOD later.

Also how can you not love Juice Robinson? Dude was a jobber to the stars in NXT and eventually busted up Kevin Owens nose in what has to be the best 5 minute squash match I have seen. He went from that to completely betting on himself, asking for a release, came to Japan, became a young lion, and now he is beloved by

I appreciate the existence of this live blog as I have been converted to the NJPW fan club but it sucks that I cannot watch along with the show.

The craziest thing Trump has actually been spouting is not a tasteless bashing of tv personalities but this whole voter fraud review board and the request of voter information. One of the very powers given directly to States in the Constitution is the responsibility to organize and perform elections. Trump asking for

All of the WAAAAHNs on the souped up guitars in that theme did make 6 year old Me head bang uncontrollably before every episode.

Now this I could get behind. Just put the show back in the south and find a couple of directors who have nice shared vision that push back on Pizzolatto when he loses his mind goes overboard in any one particular direction.

I mean it's the perfect Spider-Man movie. Pete loses his job, ducks his landlord for rent money, disappoints MJ by being a flake, alienates Harry over his connection to Spider Man, lets down Aunt May, screws up in college. All because of this responsibility to be a hero until he decides to make the selfish decision

While the whole Sandman retcon was dumb I weirdly really liked Thomas Haden Church's performance of the character. He plays him like he is some put upon guy who can't help but dive deeper into the criminal underworld because the damn world won't cut him a break. That ending moment when he realizes he is the problem

Stage presence= the juice

This is cute and all but are y'all gonna actually review the reissue which essentially dropped a second album's worth of B sides that quite frankly if Radiohead had gone the Amensisac route and released them in 98 would have been a massive success and reshaped their legacy a little.

They at least have an identity and were very popular in a type of genre music. Nickleback wrote the same 3 songs over and over again managed to trick the general public into buying their first two albums enough that they are swimming in dough.

Yeah my big concern with Cody( besides him being captain slightly above average) is that I don't think he can draw a rematch crowd in Japan either so it would be weird for him to win.

I don't follow the first part of your statement. How does the belt being important make it unnecessary? If you argue there are to many titles than I can point to at least 2 titles that are mostly pointless. Also considering how singles matches are rare aside from tournaments and title matches then the new title makes

I dislike the idea of Naito trying to discontinue a belt that actually means something. It would be funnier if he just turned to his LIJ buddies and told them to throw away those 6 man belts no more me cares about.

I could see that too. There seems to be a big speculation that Omega v Cody is gonna happen at WK12 and set up Omega's departure from BC and resulting in Omega v Okada III at Dominion next year or WK13. I don't know if I buy that because that is a long time to put a story on hold for. But if they are sure they can

One of them ends up in his block I think. I think whoever does end up in his block is either beating him or tying him and winning the block. I foresee a Omega v Naito final with the winner getting the WK12 final and the loser having beaten or tied Okada and getting a shot at KOPW in October.

Bryan once again made very public comments last week that he wants to wrestle at least part time. Eventually they will figure it all out and WWE will cave or Bryan will go have record crowds at NJPW and ROH shows a dozen times a year.

So since there isn't to much to talk about with Smackdown until we get to MITB II next week I have to bring up the G1 NJPW participant announcement if only to state that, KOTA IBUSHI is back. That is gonna be fun.
