He was really hot with the Shield and stayed hot after the split( this is roughly summer 2014) so WWE instead of hot shoting him began a long term plan to coronate him at Wrestlemania 31. This meant he had to work feuds with guys like Orton as a singles wrestler( he was mostly a tag or 6 man guy for his first few

It's sucks that Shibata is out but at least when he returns he will likely walk back into an immediate rematch. He is also way tougher than I will ever be because we all know the moment he suffered the hematoma and he wrestled for like ten more minutes after that point. Tough as nails.

That must have been blast being there. Crowd sounded hot all night long and somehow got hotter for the main event. Okada's main event title run has just been marvelous with some spectacular matches( at least 3 different 5 star matches imo).

Since this hasn't been brought up already…..
Did anybody here catch the NJPW Sakura Genesis show? That Shibata v Okada match is all I have ever wanted from pro wrestling and it fills me with joy just thinking about it. That is all.

I think the reason this JBL thing is sticking is that a lot of these stories are clearly people lower on the pecking order than him and the variety of bullshit JBL does. With Holly you knew he was a stiff asshole to everyone that was hard on the rookies for a few months but generally there was no agenda behind it.

I can't imagine the joy of Graves basking in the glow of Sampson's loser leaves town defeat only to have him appear on Raw so that Graves can be tortured by his continuing existence.

JR's funniest line to me was also during one of these Hardy, Dudleyz, E&C matches were he is arguing with either King or Heyman about something one of the teams should have done and JR just drops a " well Big Daddy Dudley probably should have practiced safe sex". I have never laughed so hard during a serious

I'm glad JR has gotten so much support through what is a personal nightmare. Anyone who has experienced any loss or grief knows how awful that return to quiet solitude in a space that was once shared can be. It's the most harrowing painful thing and I'm glad he is open to talking about that grief.

Then we can just have 8 or so men nominated to every one female nominee which defeats the purpose.

Exactly. It's just really hard to get the writers behind a total gimmick change in the NXT era of main roster WWE. Look at Cody Rhodes who thrived for a decade by basically being a good hand in the ring and changing his character/gimmick every two years and he couldn't manage to get out from under the Stardust

Storyline wise I imagine Harper returns to the family by costing Randy the belt therefore gifting it back to Bray. Harper's whole kayfabe reason for leaving the family was that he thought Randy was a snake and had blinded Bray which made him correct.

Huh?

I agree just considering that McKellen passed on the role because Harris was critical of his work would make me feel petty if I was McKellen.

I guess this makes McKellen a way better person than I am because I would have totally taken the role if I was him just out of spite so I could replace him in pop culture's collective memory.

The first Final Deletion( that just looks real dumb after typing it) doubled their ratings for that show. Plus it circulates around enough that the live crowds have at least picked up on the chants so the nitty gritty of the story will have to come later.

I think this huge time commitment is why these post mania Raw crowds suck tbh. So you spent 9 hours( basically a work day) getting into and sitting through a massive show that took me two sittings to watch through at home. Add on NXT and the 5million other shows put on both every western based indie wrestling company

He used to be back when it was just he and Tazz on Smackdown commentary back in the mid 2000's but it definitely wasn't him at his most believable.

Yeah I just don't see it in Roman. His ceiling in terms of making money is Wrestling. Look at guys with a natural charisma when they speak like Ambrose and you see why they push him up and pull him down the card. If a guy like Ambrose was allowed to really gain a huge profile via wrestling and then decided that he

That's true too. A lot of these problems are symptoms of Vince micromanaging and being more concerned with ads, transitions, and promoting social media. But if the commentary team can't reinforce the narrative of a match or promote an emotional connection to the performers than they seem a little pointless.

I'm a straight man so I really don't know degree wise which man is more attractive but Rollins also fits into this category( although his mic skills are superior)
