Yeah it's not like all those connectors won't work anymore they will still work on all your current devices and when you buy a new device get a new dock. Unless you buy every single idevice you shouldn't replace them in less then at least a year (assuming only 1 person with devices)

Almost all shows take months to get on to DVD and Bluray. So it's difficult to get a physical copy

I know a lot of people are getting ticked about this but I see Apples logic. Out with the old in with the new, sure you may be losing legacy docks and such but there will be replacements and things are going more and more wireless.

Except we would be able to update our devices =P

And this is why for our Olympics in Vancouver we build a bunch of temp events though our olympic village is still pretty empty. A few new buildings were built but many were existing ones

This shows the OEM's that they need to actually work on creating a great product and not just reusing existing designs and not being creative. It's them lighting a fire under the OEM's saying you either do it good or you don't do it at all and I support their move
