How is this any different from when iOS 6 came out and it's extremely fragmented with the 4 not getting 3d maping, siri and the 3GS barely getting anything. Yet by saying it is iOS 6 it will be advertized as having these things but older devices will not be able to use it.

The Nexus One was only dropped as they could not fit ICS on the phone. Also everyone I know who has a WP7 phone loves it and a few develop for it. Also with the scared core between them W8 apps should appear more often on WP8

The only part of WP8 she is missing out on is dual core support, the new core, multicore support , nfc and a few other things that software can not add. I bet it would of taken a heck of a lot of work to get the new core to work on existing devices.

Because of the specs on them. Take the most powerful iOS game there is and put it on a iPhone 4 and then (by the time WP8 is released) and the new iPhone and tell me which one performs better. The older hardware just can't keep up and the phones well, they are heavily optimized but it's limiting what can be done

Give me an S4 phone with a 4.5' 720p amolded screen from Nokia and good bye Galaxy Nexus I think i'd of found my perfect phone

I have to say that this phone could spark a major change. This is the ONLY phone I have seen that all 4 American carriers took and had the ( excluding radios) exact same phone. Hopefully it is a sign of things to come
