Probably because we don’t like being painted with the same brush, and because cheap and easy stories like these conveniently ignore the reasons why some of us are ambivalent about Hillary.

Well, you’re just addressing a larger aspect of our media consumption that’s based upon cynicism, snark, and sarcasm. I’m another post away from cleansing myself of this shit and canceling my phone contract. The curt, short jabs we all take at one another, including content providers is wearing on all of us.

Except only giving attention to the Bernie or Busters tends to alienate the people who have already decided on supporting Hillary. All the attention on former Sanders supporters has been the Bernie or Bust crowd, and it gets grating and could make other, less crazy former Sanders supporters feel like Democrats and

Eh, months ago I remember some Hillary supporters on this very site saying “we don’t need your vote” to Bernie supporters who were unsure about their willingness to vote for Clinton. Oh how the tables have turned..

If the stakes are so high, shouldn’t the idea be to court Bernie Bros, rather than to push them away and shame them? Don’t get me wrong, Bernie Bros are ridiculous, but at the very least, I feel like everyone constantly focusing on Bernie or Bust people is going to give them more fuel for their fire and certainly

I agree that these people are ridiculous. But I think this type of focus on only Bernie Bros only seeks to make them more angry anyway. It does the opposite of unifying. The former Bernie supporters are already in the Hillary camp don’t need to be swayed. Giving so much attention to Bernie Bros only gives them more

I saw a Daily Show segment with Jessica Williams where she interviewed a various Bernie supporters. According to the show, they were all going to vote for Trump and were fucking nuts. I know it was for comedic effect, but its this portrayal that only antagonizes Bernie people who are reluctantly backing Clinton.

I don’t care about the platform, I care that Hillary stops flip-flopping on major issues like TPP and that she recognizes that this is no longer 1992. The demographics of this country have radically changed and her party and country have indeed moved left and that she governs accordingly.

And you committed to voting for a woman who called black men “superpredators” and tried to suggest that Obama was a Muslim terrorist in ‘08. Guess racism is ok when it’s not Trump, right, hypocrite?

I’ve said it before, and I’ll keep saying it. The ‘bash the Bernie, you cant possibly vote for Trump’ message is ensuring that Hillary will be a one term president. After trump falls, the RNC will run someone more likeable in four years (which includes various slime molds) and Hillary will lose. Bernie supporters

Wow James, I usually don’t agree with your opinions but damn, this one is spot on.

Again, if I lived in a swing state, I would hold my nose and vote for Hillary. But I live in Massachusetts, a state Hillary will win by twenty five points so yeah, I might actually vote for Stein. Come at me.

And you guys don’t sound like a broken record, with your unrelenting “Bernie Bro” bullshit? Pot, meet kettle.

Hey I’ve been doing my best to get #FlipTheSenate trending but I guess congress just isn’t sexy enough....

It was a non-story before it ever became a story, but there are a lot of 24-hour news cycles to fill by people who seem not to care about policy or other down-ticket elections (I haven’t heard shit about the potential Democratic take-back of the Senate, which might include shitcanning McCain on any Gawker-related

How dare people protest for substantial economic justice! It’s not like doing that for the past six months has resulted in a substantial shift left in the Democratic party platform! How dare anyone interrupt the queen!

Delusional? Why, because we supported a man who says what he believes instead of a woman who flip-flops depending on what day it is?

As I said above, Hillary is pulling in 90% of Bernie’s supporters. People like you keep up with these lies because you’re already making excuses (that is: blame Bernie) in case she loses. She’s getting a united democratic party...if she loses, it’s because people trust her less than they do Hair Führer.

Yeah, I kind of expected more from Samantha Bee. The overwhelming majority of people who supported Bernie are firmly planted in Hillary’s camp. But there’s way more focus on the minority who are so Pro-Bernie they’re actually Anti-Bernie.

Jon Stewart would never do a bit like this because he had a sense of empathy and a basic respect for humanity. It’s why he never seemed to be punching down — even when he brutally took people to task. He always made sure he was making fun of people for the right reasons.
