Trumps speech was a direct echo of Nixon's and while it will appeal to some I doubt that it will reach the people Trump needs to reach because the country isn't as unstable as it was when Nixon came on the scene.

The Daily Show coverage of the RNC has been excellent this week, Trevors coming into his own as a host, his make America fear again segment and Kleppers field report were some of the best moments of the convention coverage. Just because you don't like him because his not at Stewarts level yet doesn't mean he's not…
I think Noah will find his audience, his frustration and rage is less out in the open than Stewarts but its there behind a clenched teeth grin. As he improves as a host more people will come to see that I think.
Idk I preferred Stewarts best to Colberts but Colbert was much more consistent imo, which I guess is the benifit of playing a character Stewart was visibly worn down at the end of his run which made it less fun to watch
Most of the more politically oriented Late Shows have been good this week, Colbert and Stewart teamed up again and Noah stepped up his game a lot and managed to demonstrate the same type of incredulous fury that Stewart had whilst also giving it his own spin
As much as people love to shit on Noah and the new TDS his RNC coverage was good not as good as Stewart as his best but nobody was as good as Stewart at his best.
Trevor was really good this week though
I still cant help but see a slightly off combination of Jean Ralphio and Andrew Garfield when I look at him
People aren't making fun of her for that though people are making fun of her because she lied about being offended about it. She was cool with the line beforehand as the convo shows.
Kanye got heaps of shit for that line
Hmm that makes a whole lot of sense but wasn't needlessly snarky enough, could you perhaps sum what you said up in a single dismissive sentence ?
I mean I doubt the Kardashians are going to get in trouble they're rich enough to blow off the consequences
"Taylor: …awesome that youre so outspoken, they’re gonna be like “yeah
she does, it made her famous.” you know. it’s more provocative to say
“might still have sex.”"
I mean according to the convo she approved it meaning that the line was to be played off as a joke before Swift mad eit the centerpiece of her Grammy Speech
She needs to go quiet for a year or so and stay out of the public eye so people forget then drop her comeback album she recorded in her cabin in New Zealand or whatever
Swifts been the Golden Child on the public for too long, at some point you have to take an L.
Swift's Grammy speech was centered on the whole "I made you famous bit" which according to the convo she was cool with. And more to the point Swift (supposedly) being a fan of Hip Hop should know that "bitch" has a different connotation in the rap world and in (speaking as a black person) Black Culture in general…
I mean Twitter and social media in general seems to be on their side on this one so I guess it worked out for them.
"Man I don't care about celebrities at all guys, Kanye Who ? More like Kim Karcrapian amirite ? " Like is it really that cool to not know who some of the most famous celebs on planet are ?
What is it about Swedes that makes them so good at making pop music
