His spiel about the city of LA making him hate black people was infuriating

Roy Wood$ album is pretty good too.

The creation scene in the Tree of life is one of my favorite sequences in all of film so I am 100% down with an entire film of the sort of stuff.

He did that with literally everyone who has every person who has ever been involved with him at any point though. Its not like he singles out Swift

People don't like her for reasons other than than her show though, and its not exclusive to right wingers either a lot of people see her as representative of "White Feminism" and its tendency to only represent and push forward the agendas of white women. But I really can't say to much about it as I'm not really

How did he publicly humiliate her ? He caught the most flak for the famous line and Swift came off as the victim.

What ? No, thats not what I was talking about at all ? I used jacking off as a general term for masturbating and I'm sorry if you took it any other way

Yeah I can't really rock with the shows decision in this instance and it really shows that like no black people were in the writers room when this episode was written.

Bro the paparazzi showing up outside of your house at 1am to snap pictures of you isn't activeley seeking out celebrity, a paprazzi calling your wife a nigger lover isn't actively seeking out celebrity. Being pestered while your out with your daughter or wife isn't seeking out celebrity.

7- 8 years old is definetly the age at which shit like that would be considered weird even for a child though. The stuff with her as a teenager is pretty gross though

The Grammy's would be worth watching at that point then.

I could buy this argument if the video as a whole was focused exclusively on Swift rather than people connected to Kayne through controversy.

I mean plenty of celebrities have issues with how every moment of their lies is dissected by the tabloid press. Theres a line between having people look at you through a screen and on the red carpet (where you are able to control how you are seen) and people seeing you cry in public and spin it into a story about how

She also jacked off while her sister was sleeping next to her when she was 16 which is pretty fucking weird and predatory.

"essentially Japanese" in this case means "We found some Asians and a white guy we made to look Asian"

At the very least she was really fucking creepy around her sexually and seemed to live vicariously through her sisters lesbianism.

Interrupting her was definetley a spectacularly shitty thing to do (although Single Ladies was a better video) though I never considered horrible enough that it'd plague his mind years later

Yeah, I can definitely see that side of the argument, while I doubt Kanye was trying to raise the connotation(he most likely threw Cosby in because he's related to Kanye through controversy) I can see how the inclusion of Cosby could raise unfortunate implications.

What did he do that was absoultley reprehensible ? Interrupt her at an awards ceremony years ago and mention her (apparently with her consent beforehand) in a song ?

But at the same time isn't that the whole point of the video ? every single person in the video is depicted in an intentionally creepy and voyueristic light while sleeping, making the video less of an attack on Swift herself and more of a comment on the nature of celebrity and how despite the image they put up to
