@Stephen Totilo: I do not see the link of which you speak. In this post, or somewhere else on the site?

@Sakilla: FWIW, "OK," and "Okay at best" with the 'at best' as the hyperlink in the internets equivalent of scare-quotes are two very different statements.

This. I didn't see much dropoff until after the site redesign either.

Absolutely, but whenever I click on a reply, I get taken back to the layout that I don't want. :\

You know what, though? Gawker can leak my password every 2 months if they'll just go back to a more usable layout.

I wonder about how many people did it. There were apparently a bunch of voice lines telling you to use the goggles if you had them.

Had you played the fight with the goggles previously? Its a lot easier to fight him without the goggles if you've already played the fight before.

Oh, also, do the one that I did: Beat Psycho Mantis in Metal Gear Solid without using the IR goggles. That was insanity!

@mrpibb79: There is also playing FFVI world of darkness without picking up any non-critical characters. That is definitely hardcore, because of the way that the final dungeon works.

@darqv: Your perspective is valid to, but I really dislike this whole "Sam's Club bulk purchase" notion of game value. I think that quality is a huge portion of the argument, and that a unique high quality short game has to be worth it.

On the other hand, I think that sometimes one wrong and a satire do make a right. I accept that doesn't work for everyone, just viewers of the Colbert Report.

Given the well known tendency of Sci-fi fans to rally around when someone attacks something in the genre, I'd have bet that you were a ringer for Doctor Who, trying to make sure that people snub GoT.

That's a solid try, but you forgot to include one or more personal insults. In internet debate, I'm told that counts as a grave breach of etiquette.

dupe post. Whee!

I own both a DS and a PSP.

Cheap is just a challenging word, because it raises the question of cheap for whom?

Endings are hard. Lost and BSG both share in common that they have a central mystery at the heart of what's going on with the show, spanning multiple seasons. I think that makes endings even harder, just because the viewers' opinions and expectations about those mysteries build up and diverge from one another over

FWIW, I think that misogyny is probably a pretty strong word to use unless in addition to sexualizing a female character for male gratification the female character is reduced to a sexual object (ie, other traits are minimized or gone).

If Katniss can be judgemental and tempermental, yours is an awfully judgemental and harsh reading of her character. I feel like Collins does plenty to put you inside Katniss' head and leave you understanding why she has her flaws and how she makes the mistakes that she obviously does. I think that's much more

I feel like there are two possibilities: Zack Snyder genuinely intended for it to be empowering and failed, or he spewed some BS. I can see why people would spew some BS to support their film, but this seems like a pretty weird line of BS. I mean, the "Michael Bay defense" seems to be a pretty well-developed line of
