Eh. Hardwick was basically accused of “being a bad boyfriend” by an ex-girlfriend with whom he was in an apparently shitty relationship - a shitty relationship which neither one of them bothered to get out of, even after they’d started to not like each other any more.

Fun times. I was looking forward to working out the formula working out the relationships between a) the number of times someone is accused of sexual harassment or assault, b) the gravity of those charges, c) the Q rating of the accused, and d) the amount of time spent in celebratory purgatory.  This is a good start,

1. Frasier was a legit good show, completely underrated, and 100% holds up, way more than any 90s sitcom except Seinfeld. If it were made by a non-American country, it would have cult status.

Can we, as gamers, agree on something for once?

America . . . is willing to air its dirty laundry in public. People are willing to name a problem in order to change it.

“We don’t diddle kiiiids, it’s no good diddlin’ kiiiids...” Wow, I got to reference ‘Frank’s Little Beauties’ like 3 times today! In print!

Agreed.... but I think part of the issue is that people don’t know how to use their words. She probably means ‘satisfying’ or ‘rewarding’, etc. but settles on ‘fun,’ because its 2018 and we’re morons.

It depends on what you value. Do you value people’s feelings or do you value truth? (worth noting, when discussing Charlene Yi’s feelings on an offensive joke made 10 years ago: she never discussed it since then, apparently, and refused to engage with any of it in private. Exclusively publicly)

Yes yes and YES - this was 100% perfect.

Shocking, shocking that people would be doing that today... proclaiming and shaming someone as being a racist, only based on extremely limited information, + what they somehow know in their heart to be the “real” truth.

Everyone’s said something dumb, something edgy, something racist. Everyone.

“Gonna be honest—if you find yourself constantly having to explain to people that despite what they just heard you say,”

But that’s not what’s happening. People are continually calling him racist based on one incident, reported years after the fact, that they lack all the information on, that they don’t have film or

Well this is highly disappointing.

The 2011 series got really damn good by the end. I’m still mad that it ended up a one season wonder.

Yes, they are, but omitting Tambor from “Arrested Development” doesn’t necessarily help them.

So, treat people the way you experience them and do not treat them based on what you’ve heard about them from other people? Crazy!

Yeah, out on a limb here, as a gay person, but maybe Jeffrey Tambor’s great and critically acclaimed performance as Maura is what made this show? As in, his performance was the only reason people watched, because the rest of it I understand was kvetching misery?

The problem is, it being an open secret is part of what keeps people from talking. Everyone knows and no one cares, so who do you talk to? Dave Chappelle (who has said things I consider wrong) said something I consider right about the path out of apartheid in South Africa: “People in a corrupt system aren’t
