Wooo-ooooo

Hopefully this wasn’t the same apparent “selectivity” he applied to finding Indy 4's “satisfactory” script..

Everyone who is trying to argue Alien 3 was “trash/crap/bad” while clearly forgetting to scale the stinkers that followed (and in turn solidifying what was the last good Alien film into a solid trilogy) has invalided themselves and shown themselves the door.

I get that artists experience their job satisfaction differently from most, but something feels terribly conceited about someone who gets paid a hojillion times more than most people who NEVER expect their jobs to be fun, complain that it wasn’t “fun.” Work isn’t always fun, even (and maybe especially) when you’re a

““Why didn’t you mention this to me in the nine times we’ve hung out since then? Or the rest of that entire trip? You were there for months. You never said anything, ever. Why didn’t you say something then?” I would have apologized, or I would have said, “Oh my god, that’s not what I intended.””

Well, if the peanut gallery here has anything to say about it, seems like they should have kept the older grittier take (which I liked and wondered where it went) and never ever ever got even close to making what is on the horizon..

Aw man, that picture you guys decided to use...

I dunno, in the right hands (so, like, not Snyder) there is a rich alternate universe to still work with ala Watchmen (although “modernizing it and taking it out of the 80's paradigm worries me).

I’m just glad he can have a charming darkly funny vacation to wine country first.

“every other line a chance to wax macho-portentous”

Why you gotta make me WANT something I didn’t even know existed and now can’t get it? Damnit.

Amazing what casting can do for appeal. I could easily see this as being more ho hum with Ben Stiller or Adam Sandler paired with Barrymore or Anniston, but damn this pairing adds some sizzle.

How you evaluate the “quality” of a horror entry though has somewhat different standards, I feel.

“PROTEIN
2mg”

I can’t tell how I feel about this....

Again, I am in no way expressing confusion on the math...just the qualitative analysis of it. All A’s is not really something to scoff at, even if you’re juxtaposing it against a 5.0 GPA..

Yes, I understand that, but that still doesn’t make a 4.1, and 100%+ GPA, something in any way scoffable.

The fun part is, given Beetlejuice is a decrepit poltergeist, not only could Keaton easily reprise the role after all this time (and probably be happy to do so despite a slight career resurgence with Birdman), but it may even work BETTER now that he’s older.

The UCLA comment confused me. Dinged as in he got in, which wasn’t surprising with a 4.1GPA, or he got turned down, which isn’t surprising because a 4.1 is somehow low at over 100% (although with grade inflation these days I hardly think a 4.0 is that special either)? “Not surprising given acceptance rates”, such as..?

You either die a hero, or live long enough to become a super silly entry in the Batman franchise.
